VOSS Sports Limited Warranty*

VOSS Paused Business - Warranty on VOSS parts and components are as expressed below and will be honored the best we can.

The specific warranty covering your VOSS bicycle or frame is governed by the law of the state or country in which it was purchased, and applies only to bicycles or frames purchased from Authorized VOSS Retailers.

FRAMES: (frame, fork structure, swing arm): VOSS frames are warranted by VOSS Bikes, 101 North Plains Industrial Road, Wallingford, CT 06492 against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty does not cover any bike or frame purchased and used for rental purchase. All other conditions apply.

COMPONENTS: All other components, including HeadShok and Lefty internal parts, suspension parts, frame fixtures and finishes (paint) are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase. Suspension forks (other than those made by VOSS) are not covered by this limited warranty, but are separately covered by the stated warranty of their manufacturer.

TERMS OF LIMITED WARRANTY:
This limited warranty is not meant to suggest or imply that the bicycle cannot be broken or will last forever. It does mean that the bicycle is covered subject to the terms of the limited warranty.

This limited warranty applies only to the original owner of a VOSS bicycle and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

For any warranty claim to be considered, the bicycle must be brought in to an Authorized VOSS Bicycle Retailer on the same continent on which the bicycle was purchased. The bicycle must be in assembled condition and accompanied by the original, dated sales receipt for the bicycle. (Be sure to keep your receipt in a safe place.)

This limited warranty is void if the bicycle is subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, an accident or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.

This limited warranty applies only to bicycles purchased in fully assembled and adjusted condition from Authorized VOSS Retailers or other outlets specifically authorized by VOSS to distribute VOSS bicycles.

Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including the results of fatigue, is not covered. Fatigue damage is a symptom of the frame being worn out through normal use. It is one kind of normal wear and tear, and it is the owner’s responsibility to inspect his/her bicycle.

Damage resulting from improper assembly or maintenance, or from installation of parts and accessories not compatible with the VOSS bicycle, is not covered.

All labor charges for warranty service are the responsibility of the bicycle’s owner.

During the duration of this limited warranty, VOSS will either repair any defective frame or component, or, at our option, replace any defective frame or component with the same or most nearly comparable model or component then available. THIS IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. ANY AND ALL OTHER REMEDIES AND DAMAGES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE APPLICABLE ARE EXCLUDED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY VOSS ON ITS FRAMES AND COMPONENTS, AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION HEREIN. ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE IMPLIED BY LAW INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXCLUDED.

Please refer to the documents included with your bicycle for possible further restrictions.

This Limited Warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights. The consumer may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state or country to country. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this limited warranty does not apply, such determination shall not affect any other provision of this limited warranty and all other provisions shall remain in effect.

CAUTION RE. BICYCLE SALES: VOSS bicycles are intended to be sold only in a completely assembled and adjusted condition, by authorized VOSS retailers at authorized locations. In fact, we feel so strongly about this we actually prohibit the sale of our bicycles through not authorized resellers or dealers!

We do this for your safety. Taking the professional retailer out of the process increases the chance of assembly errors that could lead to an accident or injury. Proper assembly and adjustment are key aspects of maximizing safety, and VOSS requires the retailer/dealer to completely assemble and adjust every VOSS bicycle prior to its sale. This is particularly important with the unique and innovative features specific to many VOSS bicycles. We also require that the retailer orient you to the particular bicycle, and to review safety equipment. Beyond safety, your fit, comfort and satisfaction with the performance of the bicycle are best assured by hands-on professional service.

Authorized VOSS retailers are not permitted to sell our bikes via the Internet or mail order.

Be aware that internet fraud happens. We have seen very professional looking websites with illegally obtained images of our bikes that are a complete fake! We have talked to people who have been tricked into thinking they were dealing with a legitimate company and have lost their money. Please don't let this happen to you.

In addition to the risks mentioned above, purchasing a VOSS bicycle via the internet voids all product warranties. Save yourself a headache and support your authorized VOSS bicycle retailer!

INTERNET PRICING POLICY
VOSS sells products in countries around the world, all with different currencies, duties and taxes. VOSS selects components from around the world, and the prices of those components fluctuate. Please contact your retailer for pricing.

INTERNET WEIGHT POLICY
Please note that weights may vary, due to many variables, such as frame size, components included or excluded as well as running changes to component specifications. We urge you to weigh the bikes or frames you are considering, at your retailer,with identical or comparable equipment. There is no industry standard as to how a bicycle should be weighed. Think about the possibility that a competitor may be listing the weight of a 46 cm bicycle without U.S. CPSC required equipment and without pedals... One good place to see a neutral evaluation of frame weight and frame life is at the EFBe website.

We want you to be completely satisfied, even thrilled, with the purchase you have made. Should an item purchased through the VOSS Online Store fail to meet your expectations, we will gladly accept its return within 30 days of original purchase for a full refund of the purchase price of the item including any applicable taxes. Should you need to return an item, please contact us via email (info@vossbikes.com) or phone ((203) 626-2350) to solicit a return form, between 30 days of reception of items.

*Please note that you must have your original proof of purchase (sales receipt) when requesting a warranty claim. Be sure to keep it in a safe place.
